About Daily Gathering

Who we are?

More than a website, we are an online concourse for community-driven commerce; a dynamic portal for small businesses, vendors and neighbors to share food, crafts, hobbies and events with others-locally.

Whether you’re a Farmer’s Market vendor, an artist, a small business owner, a local non-profit or simply a member of any community enthusiastic about the “grow and buy local” movement--you’re in the right place…

How this works

Artists & Craft Makers

You’re a local artist. You’re not trying to be Matisse or anything; you like painting or building crafts in your spare time. You often think, “Will anyone like my stuff enough to buy it?”

Nine blocks down the way there’s “Logger’s Gourmet Pizza”. Owner Sam Gross is proud of his pizza---not so proud of his décor. “Perhaps some cheery art on my walls might do the trick?”

Both you and Sam find this fabulous site called “DailyGathering.com” on the web. You take a few minutes to setup a free profile that tells your community about you, your art, and what you have to offer. Sam creates a free profile as well letting his neighbors know that he’s looking for good deals on local milk for fresh mozzarella, local produce for pizza toppings—and yes---art for his walls! Do you see where this is going?

Farmers, Ranchers & Food Producers

You’re a local farmer. You’re not trying to supply all of the nation or anything; you like producing your own crops, raising your own livestock, or producing your own cheese in your spare time. You’ve often think, “Can I produce and sell enough to have my very own business?”

All around and in your town, are your neighbors thinking, “Where can I get local, fresh, organic…?”

Both you and your neighbors find this fabulous site called “DailyGathering.com” on the web. You take a few minutes to setup a free profile that tells your community about you, your business, and what you have to offer. Your neighbors find your profile and contact you via Facebook, Twitter, email, your website, LinkedIn, or Google +. Now you’ve just grown your community and your business. Do you see where this is going?

Mom & Pop Shop

You own a small business in which you host community events and want to locally source a variety of things for your business whether they be food items, arts, crafts, or other goods and services. You’re not trying to be the next Wal-mart, but you want to increase your business and reach out to the community. You often think, “How can I distinguish myself from my competition and let everyone know that my business and I are a valuable part of the community?”

All around and in your town, are your neighbors thinking, “What fun events are happening this week? Where can I buy locally so that my money stays in the community?”

Local Non-Profit

You direct a local non-profit. Your mission, religious or otherwise, is to help your neighbors through fundraisers, community activities, and other events. You’re not trying to be the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) but your mission and your neighbors are just as important. You often think, “How can I help my neighbors more effectively and reach more of them?”

All around and in your town, are your neighbors thinking, “I wish I knew how I could spend my free time in a truly impactful way.”

You’re a local artist. You’re not trying to be Matisse or anything; you like painting still life watercolors in your spare time. You’ve often thought, “Would anyone like my stuff enough to buy it?”

Nine blocks down the way there’s “Perky Pete’s” Coffee House. Owner Pete Hampton is proud of his espresso---not so proud of his décor. “Perhaps some cheery art on my walls might do the trick?”

Both you and Perky Pete find this fabulous site called “Daily Gathering.com” on the web. You take three minutes to setup a Community User Account, wherein you indicate your available artwork. Pete creates a free Business Profile, and explains he’s looking for good deals on local milk for his lattés, eggs for his breakfast croissants—and yes---art for his walls!
